On my Side of the River
On My Side of the River is an intimate, hand-bound book I bound for artist Raphaël Castillo. Capturing the layered sediment of my creative research. Bound using a coptic stitch technique during my time in Paris, this work weaves together four different media — text, photography, illustration, and collage brought into dialogue through careful book design and material choices. By treating the journal as both container and crafted object, I explored how format and binding can deepen narrative meaning.
